Tech’s nice, but to fire artillery’s big guns soldiers must break out maps, charts and darts

CW5 Jack Cardwell I've been saying this since my Marine Corps days. We rely to much on technology to give us the answers and do the minuscule things we should be doing ourselves. I force my soldiers to break out maps and plot by hand because one of these days, those systems may not come on or work at all and the mission still needs to get done. It's a lost art unfortunately that needs to be rejuvenated.

In a war situation, simpler can be better...this might be a problem
