Wow,
This is something that not even my spouse would understand, and still doesn't. I say still because just recently one of my best friends from the military had a birthday celebration. Well, half of the people there were/are friends I deployed with to Iraq for a year tour back in 2004. Well, my spouse threw a fit over me going because it was a last minute thing, which I understand. But, these individuals shared the battlefield with me. Sometimes I have to put it that way, and she doesn't like it. Deep down she knows she won't win these battles when it comes to my friends. Is not like I'm putting them ahead or above my family, it's about the "brotherhood" as mentioned on the clip. It's something that post people would never understand unless you lived it.
Great share TSgt David LaPointe!
