Love the state of Texas, it’s history and people. Lots of Carpetbaggers and undocumented Democrats, but the real Texans hold the line.

MCPO Roger Collins - I really don't care where a person calls home. Call yourself whatever you wish.
I was born in California, left there when I was 17, worked in Washington state, Oregon, and Idaho, then went in the Army at 21. Travelled all over the world. Retired in Washington and lived there for 20 years. Now a South Dakota resident for the past 10 years.
So, am I a Californian?
Who knows??
and
Who cares???
Now, if a person wants to call themselves a Texan, that's up to them.

SSG Donald H "Don" Bates Sure, I hear them refer to being Texans all the time. They were Texans long before there was a Texas. Not trying to be snarky, but if you haven’t lived there and understand those that I referred to as “real” Texans, you couldn’t understand.

MCPO Roger Collins - I have lived here since 1972 and wanted to long before that. My Grandfather owned 320 acres in Carson County near Conway, also owned two town lots in Conway, have copies of the deeds.
