Alright. So what I most appreciate about these 9 points is the fact they are directly from a recruiter's perspective.
For what it's worth, God blessed me with this niche for writing & translating military resumes into successful civilian resumes, prepping candidates for interviews, etc. I've done hundreds...ALL of them GRATIS.
Perhaps start my own nonprofit? The demand is certainly there. Hmmmmm... Love it when the wheels are turning & ready to burn the midnight oil on #RP #RallyPoint

SSgt Moor-Lane, I think you definitely have the potential for starting your own business or non-profit. The military is trying to do Transition Assistance, but in reality, it's hard to prepare when there are so many things that go into transition. Many people find themselves still searching for a position after they separate, or they want to try something new. If you have a gift for preparing people for those new positions, take advantage of it!

Lt Col (Join to see) - TYVM for ur rsvp. I believe this is the 'validation' I needed. Columbus, OH VA knows me pretty well. Personally, I'm not aware of ANY service like this at VA or locally. I also review regular résumés of non-military affiliated folks. I used to perform 'trusted downloads' for USG. This entails removing résumés from classified env't, forensically sanitizing, then overriding free, slack, swap space 7 x's. Many thanks again, Ma'am! -@nne

If someone had a service like you describe when I got out I would have been on their door step. For some people, me, writing resumes is the worst thing to ask. You should really pursue this.

As one whose first job out of the military was a headhunter I think most vets do themselves in. They haven't thought enough about how their experience relates to what a company is looking for. After that they don't translate their skills into civilian terminology ie. conducted joint operations with XX equals participated in team that did xxx... Biggest problem is working to translate your military skills into something a civilian employer wants and then how you used those skills to improve your organization.
