The opening paragraph hooked me. I remember reading the original post about how Clausewitz should no longer be taught, and laughing at it. You never stop teaching the classics, because you want to be familiar with ALL forms and teachings.

I rather agree with your viewpoint, certainly, I think the main thrust of the title was to avoid fixating erroneously solely on old dogma, and, obviously, Clausewitz was written well over a century ago, you know? However, despite that, as I'd said, I do rather agree with your view, certainly, by all means....
