I sent in a video to the Corp for a commercial. It took several hours to make last year. I was dressed in BDU's, boots, gloves, cover and H-harness down in the creek bottom lying in a hammock with a fire going by the water.
As I recorded the surrounding area the sounds of an Owl could be heard while I got up to check my fishing line. I swear, right as I reached for the pole, a gator lunged out of the water for my arm. It scared me so bad. But I was quick and put my other arm around its neck. Using my chest as a weight, I pressed the giant lizard to the ground. It took most of my strength to hold the gators mouth shut while I cut its jugular vein with my K-bar I keep on the H-harness. Yes, Sir. I believe the Marine Corp would have incorporated my video if the gator had been larger than it was. It was only 6ft.
Anyway, I'll be back down there Saturday night. This time with a 2nd Division flag waving in the back ground.
HooRaa!
You too can be a Marine!

Next time skin and eat it then all the Naysayers can hit the rack with no chow. I believe you Cpl. What would be the reason to stretch the true. There are no awards for killing lizards.

Cpl Mark A. Morris - The length of a lizard in the darkness is hard to say for sure. Irrelevant, you adapted and overcame the attacking enemy. Outstanding! Well done Marine. Your Liberty is approved, carry on.

I asked some guys who were all from East Los Angeles why they wanted to become Marines and they told me "It's those dress blues Sergeant, Chicks dig guys in Marine Dress Blues"...

I don't believe I like your tone. Obviously you have got a very large stick stuck up your O ass! Are you demeaning the Intel of enlisted Marines. Where is that in the Marine Corps Leadership Guidebook?

They are now just too much power and too expensive. I could not drive mine on the snow and ice in MA

That is true! I would have that same issue here in Montana; however, a dream car like that could stay in my garage until spring sprang and my heart would return to the fancy of fast cars!
