You know a good portion of our allies attempt to influence U.S. elections. While the Ukraine and Russia might be in the lead based on level of effort. You really have to be living in another world to think that Israel doesn't try to influence the outcome of our elections via various lobbying groups and PACS, same goes for India (they have a multi-Billion stake in maintaining the status quo on our broken immigration system), even Canada makes feebile attempts with it's PM. None of this should be news to anyone.
