The Happy Pickle near main gate Quantico had killer steak & cheese. Not sure they're still open because that was 1980-81. Close second for cheese steak was Chief's Club aboard the Philly Navy Yard. Anywhere in New England was best for Italian sub for me. Kent's or ABC in Winsted CT are examples.
