Subjective of course, but I agree that it sucks seeing a worst with our neighbors to the north on it.

The last time our troops were attacked from the air was 15 April 1953. Even today, we will shoot down a drone to keep the record going :)

Declassified dogfight footage: F-14 Tomcat vs. Libyan MiG-23
1989 Gulf of Sidra encounter between two F-14 Tomcats of the USS John F. Kennedy and two MiG-23 Floggers of Libya. Unsurprisingly, the Tomcats come out on top.

I was a little sad when the Navy shot down the Su-22 last week. I was hoping it was one of our guys but hey, America!
