What’s Russian about them? Also the AAV7 FOV is broken and has been for years ask any maintainer how many man hours we spend working on them because of little tiny problems just because they’re old.

after seeing it in person here are my main thoughts while survivability upgrade improves it's ability to withstand an ied it the design of the troop compartment makes it so maybe only a fire team and a half as opposed to a squad can fit, you can fit less gear/ ammo, dropping knuckles and installation will be easier, it will be more difficult for field fixes, and the hydraulic system will probably be more of a hassle

They provide so much capability but are cumbersome. We were hoping the AAAV, EFV, LMNOPQRS, etc... would give us a newer version but hard to beat the original. Takes more money to maintain but we definitely still need them.
