I am totally appalled by this. I was a seat mech for 20 years. My work was on Martin-Baker seats and a short term with the Stencil. I can't imagine how anybody could put the last survival item for a pilot on such a low priority. I myself can credit 6 souls saved by the work I did, 3 where I was mechanic, 3 where I was QAR. It was my job and I was proud to serve. Who made the decision to take their time to eventually deal with this deadly issue?
