We could have maintained peace there with about 3000 troops and air support. We've been in Germany since 1945; Japan about as long...

Lt Col Charlie Brown Concur -- those 3000 troops were maintaining the peace and not fighting a war. There's been more violence there in the last 8 weeks countrywide than the past several years to a decade
