I see this lasting about a month, soldiers will get tired of maintaining them and most will realize they cant even grow a full non patchy beard. How many troops do you see now with sleeves rolled up after wanting that for so long? Those who can grow beards well will probably keep them, but the genpop will not keep with it.

MSG (Join to see), I would not be opposed to this so long as grooming standards are held to a point where soldiers do not start to represent homeless derelicts.

So now NCOs and officers will be relegated to baby sitting and making what will essentially be judgement calls and always having some junior asshole going around them bitching that their judgement was unjust on how exactly a beard should be kept. It'll cause nothing but problems.
