The Army is Testing More Designs for an Improved Combat Boot

All the service needs to go to black leather at least on base .you can't polish these boots and they look like slobs

To make a better combat boot is admirable. Spending time and money trying to create a better "jungle combat boot" seems like a serious waste. Does anybody think that jungle combat, anywhere in the near future, is even a remote possibility?
