This would be impressive. I fear it would get lost in the budget behind other "toys" that someone views as more of a priority than body armor, though.

It's easy to sit behind a desk at your office in your safe area and decide what the men and women who are on the battlefield need first and foremost. SSgt (Join to see) I hope you are wrong it getting lost in the budget. But I think that you are

SPC Brett Curry - That's the one high hope with having so many people with strong military backgrounds in the current cabinet. Mattis has given the directive to make our warfighters be warfighters again, instead of useless trainings. Hopefully that extends to useless toys & refocus on needed improvements for those with real "skin in the game".

The armor is getting better and better. Now they need to concentrate on TBI's. Something that u can't diagnose until your dead. They are finding that one blast from a ied can do as much if not more damage than a life time of playing football.
