COL Ted Mc Honestly, Colonel, I question the need for this aircraft at all. Warfare tech is going to move towards swarms of drones...and, I'm betting, orbital kinetic bombardments. So I don't think we need this thing.

SN Greg Wright - Seaman; The Airforce policy and planning wonks don't expect that anyone whose primary responsibility is in either of the two obsolete theatre of war (ground and water) to understand something this complex. Just trust them and give them all the money that they are asking for because they know what they are doing.

SSG Matthew Hess - Staff; I can't tell you if this is "manned bomber" or an "unmanned bomber" or even if it is for a "manned bomber that can be retrofitted so that it becomes an unmanned bomber" simply because the Air Force doesn't want that type of information to be released as it would "compromise National Security".

The USAF has determined that it MUST have the B-21 in order to ensure that it has the "Second Strike" capacity to deal with the terrorists who have the capacity to completely eliminate/neutralize all of America's other forms of delivering ordnance to the terrorist empire and the B-21 MUST be "stealthed" so that it can evade the terrorists massive ground antiaircraft defenses and the huge terrorist air force.

This is the same reason why the F-35 was designed and why it MUST be produced in massive numbers so that the USAF can wipe the terrorist air force from the skies when ordered to do so.

Besides both the B-21 and the F-35 provide needed employment for the voters in the Senators' and Representatives' home electoral districts as well as serving as REALLY neat backdrops for photo-ops.

COL Ted Mc - If only we had some other weapon system capable of providing a second strike. We could hide them around the globe and constantly move them so that they couldn't be targeted.

Oh, wait....
