Although, I'm not a sailor, I take precautions by drinking Bud Light Lime... frequently.

On a separate aside, every time I hear or read the word 'Limey' I've associated with the British without really knowing why. I remember when I started subscribing to Playboy Magazine back in my late teens and saw an ad with a B&W image of a nighttime upper-story flat's bedroom with the shade drawn.
The urban feel was suggestive of, perhaps, downtown London. The product being promoted was a man's cologne. The bold caption read;
"She Skittish? Go British. Go Limey, by George"
Simple, but it made a lasting impression.
