All faiths should be welcome to serve their country, but the military should not continue to change its standards to suit outside forces. I do not know the answer but I do know that the uniform contributes to the very fabric of "One Team One Fight" concept amongst service members. In training in particular it is essential to wipe out as many barriers to in-equality as we can so that the sole focus is developing civilians into service members and particularly civilians into Officers. Having everyone dress the same helps to eliminate many stereo types. I could go on, as I said in the opening everyone should be able to serve, and still serve God or whatever the Supreme be known as!
