Your word as a Non Commissioned Officer is good enough for me. This post was a great counterpoint to all of the negative experiences we've been dealing with. It's really good to hear from you that there is some positive things happening, even if it's just at one facility.
Thanks
V/R

Thanks for sharing SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Inside a VA Regional Office.
The Claims process is byzantine in many respects. Once we submit a claim or some official submits one for us it takes weeks, months, and sometimes year to work its way through to an answer.
I can't remember how many times I have received an official letter from the VBA only to read that my claim is till being processed. they send out a notice every month to that effect.

LTC Stephen Ford - I get those same letters. After 5 years ans 2 months I have quite a collection. I have been emailing my local rep and Regional Admin fairly regularly for 2 weeks now. My last email was titled "What Now, What Next?" (He's in the Louisville, KY VARO. Always the same answer, still processing. I don't know what that means anymore. 2 claims, 1 appeal, all denied. Did the NOD, waiting again. I believe my letters are still coming from the VA and KVDA (Kentucky) and not the BVA. I have made a decision to pursue this with DAV.org.
Thanks,
Rick

LTC Stephen F. thanks for the response, it takes for ever! Any yes those letters they send out every month to keep you calm, just makes it worse. Patience is a virtue when dealing with the VA.
