The commander of this Navy warship just walked off the job

Weird. She's been an accomplished mariner since school days, highly decorated with big responsibilities during her 18 year career. She was XO on the Rushmore for two years and took command in March. They're in port now and due to start training in the Spring. No telling what made a good officer decide to quit.

Not exactly a stellar leadership example. Clearly more to the story but her walking away like this is bovine excrement.
