No we can't. We can't have "reasonable" gun control because we will never agree on what is "reasonable." Before lawmakers try to limit our ability to own militia-style weapons which the Second Amendment specifically protects, people who want to ban them need to go through the process of repealing the Second Amendment.

Going to back out of this conversation after reminding you that Australia surrendered all their guns to the government going back to at least 1996.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - If you think owning an AR-15 is unreasonable, the onus is on you to explain why.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - That argument has no weight, since the US Supreme Court, in the Heller decision, concluded that the Second Amendment protects "arms that were not in existence at the time of the founding". Case closed.

Agree with Dan, but that's not what all the people screaming that restricting certain weapons infringes on their 2nd Amendment rights say.

The title is false and misleading.
One other item, what court has stated that the "Parkland kids' agenda" is compatible with the Second Amendment? This claim is bogus and false because a court case on this exact subject has not been conducted yet and cannot be conducted until someone brings suit and is specifically supported by case law. It hasn't happened yet.

Probably the 9th Circuit that thinks everything in the Constitution is simply just a suggestion.

SSG (Join to see) - Still hasn't happened yet; so the title and their supporting statements are still false.

First off this is not organized by students - Deena Katz, the co-executive director of the Women’s March is the President of the non-profit 501(c)(4) March for Our Lives Action Fund. As well Nina Vinik - an anti-gun lawyer - is on the board and ironically she is writing articles in newspapers suggesting the same or like demands.

42 West, the bicoastal entertainment industry public relations firm to handling the PR for the campaign.

Just saying from the optics there is a political force driving this agenda -
