I've been absent from RP for awhile. Where have I been? Lately, I've been pushing myself to get out of my bubble and more into my recovery from my TBI and PTSD. For me, the best way to do this has been to mount a horse and ride. I first heard about the Jinx McCain Horsemanship Program, an offering of the Semper Fi Fund/America's Fund through this very article. I applied, and this past month, I spent the most incredible week of my life since Iraq on a cattle roundup in Texas. This is one amazing program! It has helped me find myself and my confidence again. Perhaps it can do the same for one of you. That is why I'm sharing this story here. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

That sounds like an amazing opportunity, sir! I've been looking for ways other than traditional therapy and medications. Is it something that service members can do while still on active duty?
