Saw the movie long ago. Read the book even longer before. Loved the story. Daring and ingenious. I join you in recommending it.

Capt Daniel Goodman A Lancaster bomber is displayed in Nanton, Alberta, Canada. A community endeavor, the plane has been restored, a shed built to protect it from the weather and the town's teen agers give tours and learn to meet and greet people during the summers. Nanton is S of Calgary and a bit N of Buffalo Jump where the natives would drive Bison off a cliff for a mass slaughter and harvest.
