When my dad was stationed at FT Hood, I fell in love with Dukes of Hazzard and being a kid with Hot Wheels, the show was awesome and totally crushed on Daisy. The legacy of the South and Confederate flag never crossed my mind and to this day I'm disappointed they ended airing the reruns. Just good ole car chases, stunts, and hot babes.

There's a place here in Virginia (and a few more in Tenn.) named Cooter's. It has a General Lee out front and a general store with a lot of memorabilia. We just happened upon it while taking a road trip. Needless to say, at the first spot to make a u-turn, I headed back and our road trip was side tracked for a little while.

MAJ James Woods - Can't say what the sites are like in Tennessee, but the the place in Northern Virginia was cool.

There were a couple of cool looking places I stopped at while driving through Kentucky. Sometimes exploring one's curiosity one discovers they weren't welcome. It happens.

I loved that show. And the vehicles were the stars. PO1 Don Gulizia that show was classic. My mom bought a baby blue charger for me to drive in high school. Pretty cool, huh.
