The Enduring American Military Mission in Africa

I'm surprised that operations in Africa isn't more known. I knew a guy from the 25ID that did training there or so he says. Africa is definitely a place that would benefit more from US influence than the Middle East and its a hot bed of activity for terrorist recruitment, activity and training. Not to mention the leftover distaste of apartheid from Westerners or the lack of healthcare and foreign aid that serves as a springboard of contempt for Westerners.
