Very interesting! Loved our 6 years in Germany and really liked to get down to Bavaria and Austria, whenever possible. We lived in the Rheinland-Pfalz (Ramstein AB) and Hesse (Rhein-Mani AB) . As an historian, it was almost nirvana to be able to visit the castles and cities I had read so much about in High School and College. Not sure Bavaria has any real chance at independence, but I always say, Never say Never!
