The fine line between art and pornography

When the subject(s) are consenting adults, porno is difficult to define. Beyond saying " ... you'll know it when you see it ... ", I'm not quite sure where to go next. Penthouse and Playboy photography was art, while Hustler was porn?
I once argued that the magazine "Soldier of Fortune" should be seen as pornographic for its' gruesome display of dead bodies.
