@PO2 Jeffrey Goggin I did not know Paul Ray Smith was the first soldier in the War on Terror to receive the Medal of Honor. I remember these events vividly. My active duty Navy friend, then Army Reserve was in Kuwait at the same time. Thank you for this post. I can relate to the mission and the meaning. Paul Ray Smith is the name that goes with modern day military hero. Salute!
