Did you know their guitarist,Gram Parsons, was Keith Richards best friend? When Parsons died young, Richards supported his family and put the Parsons kids through college.

It was Gram that got them interested in Country Music

The rest of the Stones banned Parsons from travelling with the band as he was a bad influence on Keith Richards. Think about that, "...a bad influence on Keith Richards."
