I'm a geek I was seven-years-old when they landed on the moon period I had the moon lander model at home. I watch I Dream of Jeannie as a kid. I remember the Moonwalks for Apollo and I used to watch Star Trek, space:1999, and I remember the apollo-soyuz missions as a teenager. I've seen Interstellar 15 times Apollo 13 six times.

I'm a bit younger. But I do have a vague recollection of watching the launch of what had to have been ASTP.

I forgot about Skylab and the heat shield. Most of you he remember the Challenger and the other space shuttle cartwheeling and blowing up on and reentry in 2000 two or three?

As for Skylab's parasol, Pete Conrad had a lot of firsts. But repairing America's first station was why he was awarded NASA's Congressional Space Medal of Honor.
