The H-1B Visa Issue Explained

Look at the chart in the article at the difference in base salary between H1B dependent information technology companies (largely outsource companies) and H1B non dependent information technology companies. If ever you wanted to make a case that the H1B program is nothing more than human trafficing this chart is it. Sad one of our political parties supports this program and then runs around complaining that wages are so low and have not increased in such a long time..........when in fact they are helping to create that very issue. I will also add based on personal experience it is true WIPRO and INFOSYS hire Americans, they are lower paid than Americans at other firms, they are warned not to discuss this issue with workers at other firms and most of all they are heavily discriminated against when it comes to promotions to open internal positions.
