I found this absolutely fascinating as well as highly unusual...we went to see a fictional film on Winnie the Pooh related to this, it was one of the Christopher Robin films, my wife had wanted to see it, I had zero clue as to the actual history behind the stories....

He had incredibly bad PTSD but they didn't understand that back then

That's an extremely interesting observation, I hadn't considered the whole thing from tha specifict perspective, however, I can certainly quite perceive your point, most definitely, on further reflection....
