I think it hilarious! Read them all, watched every movie and don't believe they are banned any longer!

I have read the entire series as well. My favorite was book 5. Not so much for the book, but I got to go to Kandersteg Switzerland (International Scout Camp) for a week just after the book came out, so I had a week to read in the Alps. It was glorious.

Book Banning is archaic and to me, is a sign of fear and weakness in government.

No argument from me on that SSG Ed Mikus I was living in South Carolina at the time and my son was talking about the book. I had to see what all the fuss was about.

It's usually done by small local government activities such as school boards who are offended by some content in the book. I agree, it's bad news when it happens.

Some states still do that? Gotta be in the south.
I've read all the books and there are moral lessons in each. Maybe the Board should have read one.
