The ‘illusion’ of green energy has come ‘crumbling’ down in Europe

Here's a plan that will work. Build factories to produce small thorium reactors. Two to three years should be sufficient. Each thorium reactor can power a community. A few thousand can power the whole nation without need for a continental power grid (thus less vulnerable to attack and problems are limited to individual communities instead of blacking out whole swaths of the nation) Then take all of the windmills and solar farms and display them as monuments to our stupidity.
