I handed my resume over to a non military friend who worked in HR to make sure what I put down made "sense" for civilians. She had a lot of suggestions for the things I needed to "translate"
Critical items: supervision of people and money/inventory manageed. And any skills of fixing. flying, driving and licenses you have need to be on there.
