The Last Best Hope for America — The Atlantic

It is rather simple after some rumination and cogitation. Trump is morally bankrupt. This caustic person will lie, cheat, and steal; and his supporters are morally bankrupt for accepting such unpalatable standards. Trump, the administration, and the GOP act without virtue and there is a dearth of actions taken with pure intentions. It is quite difficult to digest and dismaying to witness the behavior of our president diametrically opposing the concept that good should prevail in our great country. We need a virtuous president. Darkness pervades throughout our land. For that I am perturbed and saddened. It is very difficult to recognize the country is being bankrupted.

The first paragraphs of this article reminded me of that military wisdom regarding assumptions and I stopped reading
