I don't agree with this as it appears the marines are pidgeon holing themselves to amphibious aussalts. How will they perform against a robust and conventional military? They will rely on drones as a replacement to artillery and tanks. Drones can't do what tanks can do: seize and hold terrain. Tanks are well suited for the defense and offense, and they carry 50 big rounds each so a platoon of tanks has 200 big rounds. A company of tanks carry 700 big rounds. That is a lot of firepower they are eschewing. The mission of tanks is not to defeat the enemy but to destroy it. To completely annihilate the enemy and quickly move on to follow on missions. I am sure that the infantry would appreciate the presence of armor.

Maj. Landgren I don’t get it either. A friend said Jarheads will become the Direct Action Force for alll Space Force Missions. IDK? But that sounds outer this world. Lol
