The Last WWII Veteran on Active Duty Served for Nearly 55 Years After the War

Dr. Earl Russell Fox joined the US Navy during WWII, stayed in the Naval Reserve after the war and then joined the Coast Guard - at age 55! He was the last WWII veteran still on active duty when he retired at 80. What a tremendous life of service!
