CPT Jack Durish "And the people who rely on these things for their work and their food and their warmth? Screw them. They’re only humans. Horrible, destructive, stupid humans."
The people who have lived in relative ease all their lives are the ones advocating for this destruction of the livelihood of most of the population of the world with no actual verifiable research of "Man Made Climate Change". I have no doubt that man has an impact on our environment, but quitting everything "cold turkey" is ludicrous. The effect would bring about more catastrophic devastation to the human race than anything in our history.Looking for solutions to cleaner energy and recycling waste, instead of jumping into the stone age is the only logical step.

Does anyone else remember how we were recently being told to expect a new "Ice Age" that would disrupt the planet? Shortened growing seasons were predicted, which could lead to worldwide famine.

SSgt Terry P. - I haven't heard anything recent about the "ozone hole" either, so I got this article via Google.
Interesting info, spiced of course with "climate change" views. The good news is the hole is healing, supposedly due to CFC bans. (Hard to say that it's not a matter of "post hoc, ergo propter hoc")
Then too, are UV conditions in Antarctica of any great concern to the rest of the world?

The Ozone Hole Was Super Scary, So What Happened To It?
When the ozone hole was discovered, it became a worldwide sensation. Thirty years later, what's become of it?
