What he really said.
""I will tell you this -- Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press," the GOP presidential nominee said at a press conference in Miami.
Trump rejected the idea that he has any ties to Russia in the wake of allegations that its government hacked internal emails at the Democratic National Committee in order to influence the U.S. presidential election in favor of Trump.

MCPO Roger Collins - i saw the press conference and heard him say it. There was no sarcasm intended at all. Stupidity, yes. Sarcasm, no.

It doesn't negate that she had 33000 emails scrubbed by uncleared lawyers and violated the entire thing. What he said is stupid first amendment protected crap. What she did was to put lives in danger, ending many lives by her direct actions and inactions. That means those people no longer have a son or daughter or husband wife brother sister etc. That's the crime and the tragedy. Opening a big ole mouth isn't. Donald, on a personal level is a very kind and soft spoken individual, it's been years since I met him, but he was really nice. To take phrases a person says where there is no real value in the words and make them so pivotal is rather sad.

GySgt John Olson - You mean like happens now in secrecy, well other than what the many Emails that have been found? The only thing I fear is an unchecked Hillary with a willing SCOTUS and Executive Orders.

I think what he's saying is, he'd like someone to hold her accountable. After the FBI failed to act on the NIPR\SIPR COMSEC violations IF the data were put out there publicly, scrutiny would\could occur and bought and paid for individuals could not sweep these violations under the rug. Shine the light on the cockroaches.......

CMSgt Mike Esser LTC (Join to see) I think what he's saying is exactly what he said. And it is consistent with everything else he's said. And it fits with his motivations. Russians provide him a HUGE income on many projects.
The only thing about Russia that isn't factual is one of these statements:
At the first GOP debate he said: “I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates. We did well that night.”
At a 2014 Press Club Luncheon he said that he was in Moscow and he spoke "directly and indirectly with President Putin who could not have been nicer."
But now he says: “I have nothing to do with Russia,” Trump maintained in an interview with CBS’s Miami affiliate. “I never met Putin, nothing to do with Russia.”
Trump's numerous big money deals with Russians, his travels to Russia, and his connections with Russian oligarchs and politicians would fill up an RP post.

Capt Michael Greene - I heard it as sarcasm. nothing more. Not an invite for the Russians to come hack anything.

If one really thought that Hillary had top secret, secret or otherwise classified info on her server...why would you want, desire such info to fall into the hands of our enemy? Either your talking treason or you never believed that such info was on her server to begin with and you've only been using this issue for political gain. Either case, pretty sad really. Maybe the Russians can find his tax returns! PS....I don't support either candidate.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - Exactly, Sir. Mrs. Clinton has said that the 30,000 emails deleted from her server were personal in nature: yoga classes, recipes, etc. If that's the case, then no national security concerns are involved. So anyone getting a hold of them would just be hacking, right? It wouldn't be espionage. The democratic party is not going to have it both ways here.
