I was a 53A/D CC in RVN 1972/73. We used 2 say 'Twist&Turn / Crash&Burn. Usually 46's though. Had several buddies die in them 71/72.they used 2 fall out of the sky! I shit u not.I see they STILL have over 30 hours of Maint. per flite hr.I got about 500 flt.hrs. Most in RVN. We did MCM in Haiphong after supportin RVN Marines in Quang Tri was the last battle 7/11/72. We lost a shitter and 2 46's there. The 53 was full of RVN Madinestoo 54 of em! Semper Fi.
