The PETA people could offer to stand in for the goats and pigs I suppose.
Typical. People refusing to accept the absolute necessity to save the lives of soldiers And provide the best possible training to our young medics. These labs are absolutely essential to initial and periodic proficiency.

The old adage "There is no substitute for the real thing" applies here. According to current battlefield medical doctrine the majority of preventable deaths on the battlefield occur due to uncontrolled bleeding. Every person out there (Liberal, Conservative, or politically ambivalent) would be outraged if their son or daughter in the military died because the medic was unable to adequately control bleeding that could obviously be controlled with good training. This is that good training!!!

There are only a small group of individuals that do not understand how important live tissue training is. And to those groups I have no respect for their opposition to the training that is responsible for saving lives on the battlefield.
