In other news, water is wet.

I can say that my unit occasionally drives me to drink, but I love the bastards in spite of myself.

As a vet and 20 years old and a sp/ I could not get a beer legally in California. Pot or heroin was not a problem even i did not take either

I think the special military discounts for smokes and booze at the PX contributed to this a Lot. Not that I didn't take advantage of it. I'm one of the lucky ones that could just walk away. I ETS's Out and Left my Cigarettes behind me. I completely quit drinking anything for 17 years when I got my pilots license. After retirement, I did become a bit of a Sommelier when it came to Good Single Malt Scotch but I rarely have more than a glass and go months when the mood just doesn't strike me so again I'm Blessed..
