I will leave these modern rifles for this generation, I hunted Deer in the Catskills in the early 1960's as a kid with the 8MM German Mauser my father picked up in Africa during WWII. Dated 1938 and full of all the markings of the era. I still have that rife to this day! By the way, it brought down many a Deer.

CWO3 Dennis M. - Now, only trying to get a deer that has 10 points, that's the hard part.

Can you imagine with something like this, I could hang a M-2 50cal. off of it. I was just watching a show about a man saving for 10 years just to go get one, he went to Tajikistan.

The modern rifle, nice, all the ups and extras, to put one round where it counts. I wonder if the new shooters will ever find out that, placement of the round is only good as it's shooter.
