The New Nuclear Triad

Pretty interesting. Job security for the career fields involved. Quite a price tag, but the continual modernization of the old systems is expensive as well. Good post MSgt (Join to see).

This is something our warplaners should have started years ago. We under estimated future crises after the break up of the old Soviet Block. We became fooled by end of the Cold War. I know in the Navy the Cold War never stopped while I was in. We continued the same harassing mission's as before. As did the Russians. For the Navy even though no shots may have been fired. The Cold War was anything but Cold. These harassments alone should have been signals to broaden and bolster our Nuclear Deterrent. Think we had too many years of top level leadership. Alot of which was caused by poor political choices.
