The New York Times publishes the “Pentagon Papers”

I have not read the papers, only excerpts. But from what I have read and from other sources, like those found on Rallypoint, I see a pattern of finger pointing, obfuscation, and outright lying. All of which points back to a government that had no clear sight of how to achieve a lasting victory for freedom in Southeast Asia.

Remember this well but when you got down to it, just more internal government agency finger pointing.
