Opportunity is what is equal in the USA. If A and B start in the same neighborhood with the same opportunities, and A busts his ass and is now living in a Million dollar home while B stayed on the couch in front of his game console and is still there, B is not entitled to anything A has. No matter what B's Democrat congressional representative says. Opportunity is Equal, Not Results.

OK, to a degree I can agree with you. One question though. What about the children and grandchildren of "B"? They would not have the same opportunity of the children and grandchildren of "A". Are they doomed to suffer because of B's choices?

B's children and grand children have as much opportunity to advance themselves as A had in the beginning. If they choose to follow Daddy's example, it was their choice.

In your example, B would end up in a in a lower level than he started, therefore B's family would be starting at a lower income level. Can some lift themselves out of that? Certainly. Can all? Certainly not.
