Well it is about power and who calls themselves king.. It is never been about the law... But who holds the scepter of power

Col Joseph Lenertz
MSgt Steve Sweeney - Justice, in order to be real, cannot be anything but justice for all. Equality under the law...equal protections...equal punishments. How can it mean anything different?

Col Joseph Lenertz I assume you believe in something your enemy wants to overthrow...

Cpl Benjamin Long - Yes. When you say enemy it makes me think of an adversary nation. I would never consider a fellow American my enemy. China wants to overthrow the principles of individual liberty and God-given rights to life, liberty and the individual pursuit of happiness, for example. These rioters want lots of things, and they want to get them by illegal, destructive and dangerous means.

Col Joseph Lenertz I don't think it is wise to limit the term of enemy since it would inadvertently create a blind spot

Spot on target, Colonel Lenertz - Fire for effect!
The attitude of the Mayor and City Council has contributed greatly to the destruction and the Governor is of no help, either. All should be ousted.

Yes. Let's hope the voters of Oregon and Portland in particular wake up and decide that riots and nightly crime are not good for their city.

Col Joseph Lenertz Unfortunately, they won't. I live less than an hour north of Portland, and I can tell you that they have a totally different mindset than the majority of the nation. To them, it's not about betterment, it's about beating Trump and the Republicans at any cost.
I'm saying this from a neutral perspective. What's happening in Portland has been in the making for years. Brainwashing, poor management of public policy, and turning a blind eye for years has finally caught up with them.

SGT Paul Turnbull - It is regrettable and inexcusable they would allow their city to be destroyed to make a political point. My last trip to Portland was in '90 and was very impressed with the style and charm of that city. This thinking makes no sense. Hmmm... Governor Paul Turnbull - It has a certain ring to it.
