Its a great lesson for all of us. I have been the recipient of someone taking a chance on me and it totally changed everything. It's something for all of us to remember.

As SMSgt Thor Merich said, this is a great lesson. And now some of us are in the position to give others a chance. I'm always on the lookout for sharp leaders. Even those in the making.

I'm with you on that 100%, but believe all of us are in the position as adults. At the same time must put out a warning to others. Not all are out there to better themselves and will attempt to take advantage and get whatever they can. Do not allow them mess up your outlook on helping others because you can learn from the negative also with a truly positive desire to assist/mentor others.
