The system fails to take hate speech and actions against minorities seriously enough once again and someone is killed. When the system and the officials that are supposed to protect you from things like this fail, despite the victims doing everything "by the book" then belief in that system is eroded and protests to call attention to the failure of the system is about all that is left to try and get things changed. The system will never change if the only people trying to fix it are the minorities affected. It takes raising the awareness of the majority that is not affected directly before there will be enough pressure on the system to change.

This is a very disturbing video and article, some people are so full of hate, that they don't care what the legal system has set down for them to follow.

Let us not forget that this is just one example of our flawed system. I must admit, I can identify the problem yet I can offer no solution. Better men than I have been trying for years. The victims of this hate heard Miss Liberty's speech and came here full of hope. We the People let that family suffer and they paid an immeasurable price for our neglect. Let this be a lesson to the authorities that hate has no place in our neighborhoods.

A restraining order is just a piece of paper and means nothing to a criminal.
I wonder why the police were not called when he started shooting in his own house? I wonder why the Judge would ever consider allowing someone with a history of violence, a restraining order on them, and that has continually violated the law out of jail.
This person has so much hate in them they do not even see reason or understand reality anymore. I hope he gets the death sentence, I hope the family can survive this violence. Its always the good ones that follow the rules and work hard that get screwed by the system.
